Rational for Final Idea
The idea I have chosen to use for the advertisement is the third idea in which is referring to the student who is stressing out but then gets a Cadburys bar out and then is no longer stressed out. The reason for why I have chosen this is because it is the most practical out of the three ideas in which I had come up with.
The first idea was going to take place on a beach and the idea behind that is that the weather would be bad until they got the Cadburys out. The problem though with this is that a trip to the beach would be required in order to acquire the needed photos as well as the needed foley sound that would be required for the advertisement ideas. This then means transport would have to be arranged for actors as well as equipment with a budget that simple does not exist therefore it would prove difficult in order to actually achieve this. The needed legal documents would be needed before working on the beach and there may be some misinterpretation with the advertisement. Hence why this idea would not be used for the advertisement campaign due to the lack of budget that is required in order to create the needed piece of advertisement.
The second idea was there are people waiting for a bus, but it is going to late so then a person gets out a Cadburys and then a Cadburys bus arrives. The problem is with doing the print advertisement it would be difficult to take the needed photos due to where the bus stop would be and the appropriate location to take the needed photos. Another problem would be using a bus stop that does not presently have anyone using it who has not given permission to be in the advertisement which would prove a legal problem. For the radio advertisement it may prove difficult to acquire the needed foley sounds to be used within the advertisement due to the busy nature of bust stops and roads. The needed legal documents would be required before any photos could be taken within the bus area which may prove problematic. Hence why this idea was not chosen to be used within the advertisement for the Cadburys product.
With the third idea the only photos that would need to take could be done in the school environment where it can easily be done and any audio that would be needed for foley sounds for the radio advertisement can easily be done there as well. The advertisement would meet the brief and would prove appealing for viewers that see the advertisement and would hold up to the requirements of the brief. Hence why I have chosen to do the third ides due to it being more practical than the other two ideas.
