P1 M1 Case study of existing advertising campaigns

 Food Campaign Snickers 2014 Mr Bean ad The product in this advert is the snickers chocolate bar.  The advert is from 2014. This advert would have been displayed on tv however I found the advert on YouTube. The advert would be attractive for those who are of the same ethnicity of the people in the advert, however it is more appealing to a wider audience as the famous character Mr Bean is in the advert and he does not use words to convey messages but rather his actions.   P2 Point: The aims of this advert are to gain awareness of the snickers product which is available as well as to gain feedback on the advert due to its humorous nature. Example: This can be seen from 0:17 to 0:41 where Mr Bean is attempting to move across the roof tops and is failing to do so in a hilarious manner that is interesting for an audience to watch and be entertained by. What is an advert?  An advert is a brief piece of media that provides information regarding a product to a potential client in a manner that is engaging in order to grab their attention. What is an advertising campaign? An advertising campaign is where multiple adverts are created for a product in order to best promote the product for potential clients in various ways as to allow for a wider target audience to have knowledge of the product as well as the campaign. What different mediums can adverts appear in? Adverts can appear in many mediums in order to promote their products due to the different formats of media that exist. Adverts are able to be in video format, so they are able to appear on tv channels or at movie theatres so they may promote their product via these channels.
