Pitch Reflection

1) With regard to how I carried out and applied the research that I had done I believe it had gone well but does have room for improving. The information that I had researched was useful considering the time constraint however the problem was that I had not presented it within the best light due to how I presented the information. To improve this the presentation would have to be improved so that the information that is presented is better for use.

2) I had presented my research and idea alright. I was not the most confident when presenting, I had stuttered and made mistakes here and there when presenting and I did not speak as loud as I should have. However, when presenting I was not completely a negative experience. I feel as if I was able to get the points I was making across and provide the group listening with a good enough idea of what the advertisements would be all be it with some problems here and there. There were the areas in where I had not considered with the presentation that when questioned I was unable to answer and therefore will need to consider these things with the presentation in order to improve it and better convince people of the advertisement ideas I have. Overall, the presentation went alright despite the nerves that were waying down upon my head and me not having areas in which I have considered before presenting the proposal.

3) In regard to the content, this can be improved in order to make the presentation appear more presentable. The content within the presentation would be improved by providing less words to describe what is attempted to be said within each of the pages. The main problem with the content is that there are too many words that are being used in order to describe what the main point is and thus filling the screen with a large number of words which can come across as not interesting and can prove counterproductive to the point in which I am attempting to get across.

In regard to the research, this can be improved so that when presented the information in the proposal it would appear better. The research that was done for the proposal was alright however there was a times constraint therefore meaning whenever research was done for the proposal the times that was spent researching was not considerably a large amount of time. If given more time further research could be done into the required areas and the information that was presented within the proposal would have been able to a better standard for use.

In regard to the presentation, it could have been improved in several ways. One way in which the presentation could be improved is with imagery. The presentation is quite uninteresting and does not provide an idea of what the advertisement would be or any of the related content in which would be referenced. Therefore, the presentation could have been improved if I had included more images within the proposal in order to provide more visual interest and provide much clearer ideas of what was trying to be said. Another way could have been reducing the amount of writing that is on each of the slides that is being used. On the slides of the presentation there was a large number of words that were used in order to explain what each of the slides was attempting to get across. The presentation could be improved by reducing the number of words that are used on each of the slides.
